About the Role

You will be responsible for shaping the organisation's data roadmap, aligning it with our strategic goals and championing data governance, quality, and security practices across the organisation.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Define and implement scalable data pipelines supporting Business Intelligence, analytics, and reporting.
  2. Ensure reliability, performance, and compliance of the data platform.
  3. Manage and prioritise the team's backlog to balance immediate business needs with longer-term improvements.
  4. Partner with key stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable data solutions.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Bachelor's or master's in computer science, Information Technology, Data Science, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Data Lead, Data Manager, or Senior Data Engineer with leadership responsibilities.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL, data modeling, and modern data warehousing.
  • Deep understanding of ETL/ELT, data architecture, and governance frameworks.
  • Exposure to cloud platforms with experience in DBT, Python, and data factory tools.
  • Skilled in stakeholder management, with the ability to engage executives and non-technical teams.
