Perioperative Nurse Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Scrub Scout Perioperative Unit. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver evidence-based nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures
- Liaise with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes
- Supervise and direct nursing team members to deliver patient care
- Deliver education and support to patients and their families to promote health and well-being
- Current registration with AHPRA
- Postgraduate certificate in perioperative nursing (or working towards)
- Working with children check
- Commitment to quality patient care and compliance with ACQSHC national standards
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Our hospital is a private hospital service in the Northern Territory, providing a broad range of multiday and day surgery services. We attract patients from across the greater Northern Territory, Western Australia, remote Aboriginal communities, and even offshore.
