Clinical Nurse Specialist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our team at Healthscope. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in the perioperative setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individual patient care to ensure the highest level of quality and safety.
- Provide expert nursing care to patients undergoing surgery, including pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative care.
- Develop and implement strategies to promote effective communication and collaboration with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Work in partnership with patients and families to make informed decisions about their care, promoting beneficial relationships and outcomes.
Requirements:
- Current registration with AHPRA.
- Current NT WWC card.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in Anaesthetics/PACU or DSU nursing.
- Post Graduate Certificate in Perioperative, Anaesthetics/PACU or ICU (or working towards).
- Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality patient care.
- Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills.
- Commitment to ongoing personal and professional development.
- Exceptional time management and organisational skills.
