Key Responsibilities- Oversee the professional development of less experienced engineers, including interns and undergraduates, to support their growth and development.

- Implement and monitor company and project policies, goals, and objectives, ensuring alignment with our values and ethos.
- Assign, monitor, and manage team tasks and deadlines to ensure project milestones are met.
- Provide training and knowledge-sharing opportunities to develop and cross-skill team members.
- Perform performance management activities with team members, including goal setting, 1:1 performance and development discussions, mentoring, and coaching.
- Actively seek additional business from existing clients and pursue new business opportunities with untapped market segments.
We are looking for a highly experienced and skilled Principal Structural Engineer with a minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in a structural engineering role. You will have a strong background in civil infrastructure, with a focus on structural engineering disciplines. You will also have a proven track record of leading teams and delivering projects on time and within budget.
You will have a Bachelor of Engineering degree and be registered as a Professional Engineer in Queensland. You will also have Chartered Engineer (CPEng) Practising qualifications and demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office and virtual meeting and collaboration tools.
You will be an excellent communicator with strong organizational skills and the ability to determine priorities and meet concurrent project deadlines. You will also be able to work autonomously or as part of a team to meet project goals and operational targets.
