We are seeking an experienced senior investment professional to join our team as a Director of Portfolio Risk. This is a high-profile role that requires a deep understanding of investment governance, risk management, and portfolio construction.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 13 years of experience in investment management, preferably in a first-line investment function. A university degree in law, economics, commerce, or finance, complemented by post-graduate studies or professional accreditation in a related field, is highly desirable.
You will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of our investment governance framework, ensuring that it aligns with our overall investment strategy. Your expertise in risk management will be critical in identifying and mitigating potential risks, and in developing strategies to optimize returns while maintaining an acceptable level of risk.
The role also involves collaborating with other teams across the organization to ensure that our investment processes are aligned with our risk management framework. You will be required to communicate complex information effectively to stakeholders at all levels, including investment teams, risk management, and compliance.
