Increased demand for quality investment governance, valuation, and reporting has driven the requirement for this new Manager Financial Governance position.

This new Manager Financial Governance will focus on a variety of challenging day-to-day investment valuation reporting and governance monitoring to support the investment team. Your challenge will be to show initiative and a proactive approach to leading the development of the investment governance reporting and valuation to ensure they are aligned with approved best practice SPS 530 investment governance standards.

To be successful, you will ideally have proven financial governance, valuation, or compliance experience from the Superannuation, Banking, Investment Management, or Big Four Accounting Industry, with good technical knowledge across accounting standards, unit pricing, and financial markets. Proactive communication skills allowing you to interact successfully at senior levels of the business are also essential. A good academic profile, ideally CA or CPA, with prior experience or knowledge of investment governance reporting (SPS530 or APRA) and strong financial modelling skills, will be highly regarded.
