Inventory Management Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Inventory Management Specialist to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and contribute to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Replenish stock from local and international suppliers by managing inventory levels, tracking shipments, and coordinating with logistics teams.
  • Identify areas for cost savings and increased service levels by analyzing sales data, supplier performance, and inventory turnover.
  • Ensure timely delivery of products to customers by maintaining effective relationships with suppliers and import staff.
  • Collaborate with Category Managers and internal stakeholders to meet sales requirements and optimize inventory management processes.
  • Liaise with sales teams on promotions, product updates, and stock clearances to ensure accurate forecasting and efficient inventory management.
  • Oversee and manage superseded stock and part number conversions to minimize waste and optimize inventory utilization.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience with inventory systems and purchasing control, including supply chain management software and tools.
  • Excellent Microsoft office skills, particularly in Excel, and proficiency in data analysis and reporting.
  • Strong prioritization and time management skills to effectively manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • High attention to detail and problem-solving skills to resolve inventory discrepancies and optimize inventory management processes.
  • Able to work autonomously and collaboratively as part of a team to achieve business objectives.
