Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement change management communication plans to support staff through transitions.
  • Launch a new internal communications channel and intranet to improve information flow and engagement.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and communications teams to ensure alignment with overall strategies and goals.
  • Ensure all project stakeholders are kept informed, educated, and aware of developments.
  • Attend project meetings and provide regular updates to the Head of Communications and Marketing.
  • Develop, review, and edit marketing and communications materials as required, including newsletters, brochures, and digital content.
  • Review, edit, and update the external website to ensure it is user-friendly, engaging, and aligned with the organisation's branding and messaging.
  • Work closely with designers and external suppliers to produce high-quality materials.
  • Create, write, and distribute fortnightly project newsletter updates.
  • Support the management of social media accounts by assisting in content creation, scheduling posts, and monitoring engagement.
  • Ensure content is accurate, up-to-date, and aligned with brand guidelines and marketing objectives.
  • Assist in planning and coordinating events, such as town halls, resident meetings, and anniversary celebrations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (5 years+) in a marketing or communications role, with a focus on rebranding and change management.
  • Exposure to the aged care, human services, or not-for-profit industry (desirable).
  • Demonstrated project management skills and ability to manage time effectively, coordinating multiple activities and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Strong writing skills with the ability to produce high-quality tailored communications for a range of stakeholders.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all work.
  • Proficiency in digital communications tools and platforms (desired).
