Purpose

This role supports rehabilitation and return-to-work processes, providing work health and safety administration across locations within our portfolio.

The Role
  • Full-time, fixed-term position until further notice
  • Can be based anywhere in Australia, reporting remotely to the Director of Work Health and Safety located on the Gold Coast
  • Flexible working arrangements available, including remote or hybrid setups
  • Ongoing travel may be required

Key Responsibilities:

  • Complete administrative tasks related to injury management, prevention, and compliance with state legislative requirements
  • Serve as the initial point of contact for injured workers
  • Assist with claims and rehabilitation documentation to meet internal and external needs
  • Support incident investigations and the implementation of corrective actions
  • Contribute to safety and engagement initiatives across the portfolio

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in injury management and prevention
  • Able to form productive relationships with key stakeholders and across all levels of the organization
  • Effective negotiation and influencing skills to deliver results
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suites
  • Exceptional communication and organizational skills
  • Work health and safety and legislative compliance knowledge
  • Able to work independently, with initiative, sound judgment, attention to detail, and deliver high-quality results
