Essential Skills and Experience- Tertiary qualification in a relevant field and/or extensive knowledge, experience, and technical expertise in coordinating, operating, and maintaining teaching and research laboratories.
- Demonstrated high-level organisational skills and initiative, including experience in work planning, research, analytical skills, and prioritising to meet deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with internal and external stakeholders at varying professional and academic levels, from diverse cultural backgrounds.
- Demonstrated knowledge of WHS legislation and risk assessment strategies within a teaching and research laboratory and experience in undertaking WHS inspections and risk assessments, ability to identify risk and provide advice on corrective actions.
- High-level written and oral communication skills with knowledge and experience in developing and maintaining quality systems, reports, documents, and participation in a continuous business and safety improvement processes.
