About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Officer - Avionics to join our team at Boeing Defence Australia. As a key member of our Sustainment team, you will play a critical role in supporting the E-7A Wedgetail airborne surveillance, communications and battle management system.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide engineering support across the entire E-7A Airborne Mission Segment.
  • Develop engineering artefacts supported by a robust Engineering Management System.
  • Liaise with Defence stakeholders to support and find solutions for technical issues.
  • Communicate and collaborate with a diverse, multi-disciplinary team.

Requirements

  • Experience working as a Technical Officer or Technical Assessor with a proven track record of delivering technical outcomes.
  • Experience working in the Avionics domain on civil or Defence aircraft.
  • Commitment to quality, safety and continuous improvement.
  • Proven high level of written and oral communication skills.
