As a wellbeing specialist, you will play a vital role in empowering job seekers to gain meaningful employment. This involves providing individually tailored assessments, psychological interventions, and counseling services to address non-vocational and vocational barriers that may hinder employment.

The scope of this role encompasses:

  • Providing evidence-based psychological interventions and health services to clients referred to the service.
  • Delivering high-quality, personalized support through telehealth or video counseling for remote clients.
  • Conducting case conferences with internal business units to ensure seamless continuation of care during client engagement.
  • Facilitating advocacy and referrals to external services as needed.
  • Coordinating job capacity assessments for Centrelink job seekers.
  • Offering telephone crisis assistance and post-placement support to employed clients facing job insecurity.

You will work collaboratively within a diverse team environment, engaging with various programs of support and age groups (15-65 years). Additionally, you will have opportunities to develop your skills and knowledge through our Learning & Development initiatives and direct support towards achieving a Cert IV/Diploma qualification in a relevant discipline.
