Job Title: Senior QA Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Senior QA Specialist to join our team and contribute to the delivery of high-quality software applications.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manual and functional testing, with experience designing and delivering test plans and reports.

You will be working closely with business stakeholders to ensure that requirements are met, and collaborating with development teams to identify and prioritize defects.

  • Test software applications across web, mobile, and desktop platforms.
  • Analyse user stories, use cases, and acceptance criteria to identify potential issues.
  • Create and execute detailed test scripts, plans, and cases to ensure defect-free software.
  • Develop and maintain test strategies to improve overall quality.
  • Collaborate with business SMEs to ensure coverage of requirements.
  • Facilitate meetings and coordinate sign-off for test documentation.
  • Support UAT and PVT testing processes, including development of UAT scripts.
  • Manage bug tracking and prioritisation via agile project management tools.
  • Produce test reports and provide clear communication to stakeholders.

Essential Requirements & Experience:

  • 4+ years' experience in quality assurance and testing.
  • Strong background in manual and functional testing.
  • Experience designing and delivering test plans and reports.
  • Hands-on experience with Agile delivery environments.
  • Cross-browser and multi-device testing experience.
  • Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously, prioritise workloads, and deliver under competing deadlines.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience developing test strategies.
  • Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Experience testing APIs.
  • Exposure to agile project management tools.
  • Experience in the energy sector.
