Job Description:
  • Certificate III or Diploma in Leisure & Lifestyle or Diversional Therapy is essential for success in this role.
  • Full-time availability Monday to Friday is required.
  • Experience in aged care homes, developing leisure and lifestyle programs including working with dementia clients, is highly regarded.
  • Designing and evaluating health and wellbeing activities and programs based on health assessment requires strong skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills are fundamental to delivering high-quality care.
  • Understanding of aged care and resident rights and responsibilities is crucial for building strong relationships.
  • Proficiency in AutumnCare (or similar software) with ability to maintain accurate records is expected.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement leisure and lifestyle programs that meet the diverse needs and interests of residents.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality care and support to residents.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of resident activities, assessments and plans.
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures that promote quality care and safety.
