Lifestyle Director
Our organization is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic leader to oversee our lifestyle team. This role offers an exceptional work-life balance, allowing you to experience the best of our region.
We provide high-quality care and support to residents in a family-like community setting. As a boutique, not-for-profit aged care facility, you'll experience a true sense of purpose working with us. Our tranquil surrounds and magnificent gardens will make you feel like you're working at a tropical resort, while making a real difference in the lives of our residents and their families.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising our lifestyle team, ensuring they have the necessary skills, support, and resources to facilitate, coordinate, and plan recreation and lifestyle programs. They will report to the Chief Operations Officer (COO) and work collaboratively with the Clinical team, including Nurses and Personal Care staff.
Key Performance Indicators include:
- Deliver strategic oversight and use contemporary research and approaches to develop innovative lifestyle programs.
- Provide highly supportive supervision to volunteers.
- Support staff to assess residents' social interests and capabilities and develop person-centred care plans and lifestyle programs.
- Develop streamlined processes to implement lifestyle programs across both sites.
- Research and develop leisure activities that cater to diverse needs and interests.
