Data Solutions Strategist

The organization seeks a highly skilled data architect to lead the development of its data solutions. This role involves designing and governing data systems, ensuring effective data movement, enhancement, integration, quality, and availability across the business.

• This is a pivotal position in supporting the organization's data architecture roadmap, managing the enterprise data model, data stores and warehouse, information management practices, and the development of advanced analytics capabilities.

The ideal candidate will have experience in data management, including data architecture, data engineering, data modeling, data warehousing, data governance, data security, data privacy, and business intelligence. A strong understanding of cloud solutions and data integration tools is also required.

1. Developing and implementing a comprehensive data strategy to ensure scalability, security, and availability.
2. Improving data hygiene practices to ensure that data is well organized, accessible, and engaging.
3. Ensuring data governance and standards across the business.
4. MAPPING AND DOCUMENTING EXISTING DATA MODELS TO A FUTURE STATE AND SUPPORTING THE OVERALL DATA STRATEGY.
5. Collaborating on solution designs and technical problems.
6. Reviewing and coordinating user testing to evaluate the effectiveness of data architecture.
7. Translating complex technical solutions into clear business outcomes and communicating with stakeholders.
8. Working closely with business stakeholders to refine the data strategy and form a business view of the data domain.

• To be successful in this role, you will possess many of the following qualifications:

1. At least 2 years' experience in data management, including but not limited to data architecture, data engineering, data modeling, data warehousing, data governance, data security, data privacy, and business intelligence.
2. Familiarity with cloud solutions (Amazon Web Services, Databricks, Snowflake, Microsoft Azure) and data integration tools.
3. A deep understanding of data strategy and the ability to guide low-maturity environments towards best practices.
4. Knowledge of data management and governance concepts such as data quality, metadata, master and reference data management.
5. An analytical approach to problem-solving, with the ability to use technology to solve business problems.
6. Relevant qualifications that support data architecture skills.
7. Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
8. Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage sensitive information effectively.
9. Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills with internal and external stakeholders.
