Your Next Step in Engineering

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Engineer to join our Regional Queensland Concrete and Quarries business. This role involves managing and executing capital works projects under $1 million, ideal for someone with entry-level experience eager to gain more industry exposure.

This pivotal role encompasses our 30 concrete plants and 9 quarries across regional QLD from Toowoomba to Darwin.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead safety, quality, delivery, and financial aspects of projects across our regional and remote operations.
  • Provide effective team leadership, engaging with multiple internal departments to exceed client expectations.
  • Regularly report on project budgets, schedules, look ahead, and at-risk activities.
  • Complete documentation for efficient costing, raw material management, and invoicing for projects in your area of responsibility.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Tertiary qualification in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering would be highly desirable, or 2-3 years of industry experience considered.
  • Flexibility to travel across regional QLD.
  • Competent professional with an appetite for working in and enhancing an inclusive open team.
  • Effective negotiator and highly competent communicator.
  • Excellent communication skills and advanced skills in Microsoft Suite, including MS Project.

Average Salary: $95,000 - $115,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
