We are seeking a Senior Project Officer to support the delivery of the Environmental Sustainability Strategy and associated projects through strategic advice, advocacy, and partnership management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert advice on environmental sustainability strategies and policies.

  • Built relationships with internal and external stakeholders to drive progress and respond to issues related to Council's environmental priorities.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree qualification in urban planning, environmental science, project management or a related strategy field.
  • Proven ability to deliver cross-functional projects, policies, and/or strategies with a focus on green and blue infrastructure planning.
  • Demonstrated high-level application of analytical, creative thinking, and problem-solving skills in a complex, multidisciplinary environment.
  • Exceptional ability to communicate, negotiate, build relationships, and influence others with an engaging approach and technique.
  • Strong communication skills and effective management of partnerships, including both internal and external stakeholders.
