As a Facilities Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of a portfolio of commercial office buildings with various tenants. You will also mentor and drive your direct reports to achieve success.
Key Responsibilities:- Establish and maintain professional relationships with clients.
- Ensure compliance with statutory authorities and enact appropriate engineering practices for maintenance and repair of property structures, facades, and services.
- Maximize property performance in terms of sustainability.
- Drive asset performance to achieve NABERS energy and water targets.
- Coordinate efficient management of property services and other works required within the assets.
- Undertake periodic inspections of buildings and plant to determine repair work requirements.
- Manage specialist contractors to ensure compliance with contract terms and conditions.
- In collaboration with others, prepare annual property operations and capital works budgets, monitoring and updating budgets quarterly.
- Proven facilities management experience in a commercial environment.
- Ability to manage high-profile portfolios.
- Passion for sustainability and knowledge of property systems, including building services software procedures.
- Occupational health and safety legislation knowledge.
- Excellent communication skills – written and spoken.
- Capacity to work independently, multi-task, and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
- Desire to work collaboratively as part of a diverse team of industry professionals.
