About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Operations Supervisor to join our team at Spotlight Group Holdings. As a key member of our Distribution Centre team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our logistics and receiving processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage Dispatch and Receiving Operations: Oversee the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods to our stores and customers.
  • Lead a Team of up to 10 Members: Provide guidance, coaching, and mentoring to your team to ensure they are equipped to perform their roles effectively.
  • Ensure Compliance with Safety Protocols: Ensure that all team members and areas of the Distribution Centre are adhering to safety procedures and protocols.
  • Conduct Stock Recovery and Labelling: Perform regular inventory checks and ensure accurate labelling and stock management.
  • Manage Customer Inquiries and Issues: Respond to customer queries and resolve any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Perform General Admin Duties: Assist with administrative tasks and other responsibilities as directed by the Team Leaders.
About You
  • Experience in Transport, Dispatch, Receiving, and/or DC Environment: You must have at least 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Interpersonal and Communication Skills: You must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively lead and manage your team.
  • Personal and Professional Responsibility: You must demonstrate personal and professional responsibility by coordinating the work of others and being accountable for your own work.
  • Leadership Experience: You must have demonstrated experience in leading a team of up to 15 members or a function.
