Freight Forwarding Operations Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Customer Service Coordinator to manage end-to-end freight forwarding operations. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating with customers, carriers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless shipment execution and timely resolution of customer inquiries.
Key Responsibilities:- Shipment Management: Manage the entire shipment process from booking to job closure, ensuring compliance with all procedures and standards.
- Order Processing: Coordinate and process sales orders with precision and speed, ensuring timely and accurate execution of shipments as per confirmed bookings.
- Special Instructions: Ensure that special instructions are followed and appropriate methods are utilized for each shipment.
- Communication: Maintain regular communication with customers to provide status updates, respond to inquiries, and address any issues promptly.
- Rapport Building: Build rapport and trust with customers by maintaining detailed customer profiles, managing pricing/quote inquiries, handling disputes and claims, and resolving complaints effectively.
- Productivity Monitoring: Oversee daily shipment monitoring efforts to ensure productivity meets departmental and company standards.
- Problem-Solving: Facilitate problem-solving and foster collaboration within the team to achieve productivity goals.
- Documentation Accuracy: Ensure all shipment documentation is accurate and complete, complying with import/export regulations and policies.
- Data Entry: Accurately input all shipment-related data into the ERP system.
