
Senior Business Development Professional

The role of Business Development Manager entails developing and executing strategies to increase sales, build partnerships with customers, and drive business growth in the Australian renewable energy market.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer relationship management skills, a strong understanding of the solar industry, and the ability to develop and implement effective sales strategies.
Responsibilities include visiting customers to introduce company products and solutions, providing regular training to team members, and reporting on sales, competitors, and market trends.
- Develop business partnerships with customers including solar installers, retailers and wholesalers to achieve sales targets.
- Make sales strategy and B2B channel development plans in line with company strategy.
- Provide regular reports on sales, competitors and market trends.
- Provide general customer support to all B2B customers and work with other teams to achieve customer satisfaction.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, business or related field.
- Work experience in the Australian residential solar industry (e.g. inverter and/or battery manufacturer, energy company).
- Excellent customer relationship management skills.
