Key Responsibilities:- Attend clinics in Wollongong, Port Kembla, and Shoalhaven to provide expert care for patients with sexually transmissible infections, HIV, and other reproductive health issues.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans tailored to diverse patient needs.
- Contribute to interdisciplinary teaching and research activities within the service.
- Partner with Public Health and Infectious Diseases teams to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
Requirements:
- Hold a medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) and be registered with the Medical Board of Australia.
- Be enrolled in the RACP Sexual Health, Infectious Diseases, or relevant Advanced Training Program.
- Demonstrate exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively communicate with patients from diverse backgrounds.
- Exhibit cultural sensitivity and proficiency in communicating with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders.
