Be a part of a national gathering that unites young Catholics from across Australia by volunteering at the Australian Catholic Youth Festival. The festival is a beacon of hope, culminating in a jubilee year celebration that empowers young people to encounter Christ and give witness to their faith.Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Welcome participants with hospitality and enthusiasm
  • Hosts for the pilgrimage walk on Sunday
  • Monitor designated areas as zone wardens
  • Manage entry points and spaces as door monitors
  • Support logistics for planned activities as activity support officers
  • Oversee crowds during plenary events including concerts as crowd monitors
  • Assist the liturgy team
  • Set up and pack up venues
What's Involved:
  • Complete a comprehensive induction process covering festival venue information, volunteering with the Catholic Church, role-specific orientation, and safe work practices & safeguarding
  • Commit to volunteering for at least one day of the festival
