Job Summary:

We are seeking an ambitious and results-driven Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead our new trading operation in Australia. As a senior-level position, the CEO will be responsible for developing a strong and reliable distribution network and hiring and developing a competent team to operate the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the strategic planning, sales, and logistics/distribution processes.
  • Oversee supply chain execution and be accountable for resource planning, material cost, forecasting, schedule performance, 3rd party logistics partner performance, and supply chain issue resolution.
  • Develop and implement business strategies to drive growth and profitability.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and partners.
  • Manage and develop a high-performing team to achieve business objectives.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years' experience in a senior management position in the wood products industry or manufacturing sector.
  • Detailed understanding of diverse business functions, including sales, logistics, marketing, and finance.
  • Documented entrepreneurial experience as a business owner or leading new business development.
  • A track record of hiring and developing a commercial team who achieve outstanding results.
  • Experience within a senior logistics or supply chain management role.
