Key Responsibilities
  1. Conduct and coordinate power systems analysis and studies to ensure the safe and efficient operation of our clients' power systems.
  2. Perform generator planning and feasibility assessments, as well as connections, to optimize our clients' power generation and distribution.
  3. Develop and present technical reports, briefing notes, and discussion papers to stakeholders, including clients and internal teams.
  4. Manage projects, build business relationships, and prepare proposals to support business development and growth.
  5. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, and share knowledge with colleagues to drive innovation and excellence.
  6. Participate in and lead young engineers' forums to engage with the local community and promote professional development.
  7. Travel occasionally to site locations or for customer meetings in Australia and internationally.
Requirements
  1. A degree in Electrical Engineering, with a preference for candidates with post-graduate degrees in Power Systems.
  2. A strong understanding of electrical engineering principles and demonstrated experience in power system analysis.
  3. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and client engagement skills.
  4. Ability to work effectively in focused and multi-disciplinary teams.
  5. Familiarity with policies, guidelines, rules, and regulations applicable to the Australian National Electricity Market and other jurisdictions.
  6. Experience with programming and the use of commonly used engineering and power system analysis applications/tools.
  7. Current living and working rights in Australia (permanent residency or citizenship).
