Job Title: Procurement Expert

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Senior Procurement Officer. The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing and procuring goods and services in line with the company's procurement framework, ensuring value for money, quality, and compliance with policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • Sourcing and procuring goods and services in line with the company's procurement framework\
  • Managing procurement activities to meet required timelines\
  • Overseeing accurate and timely invoice receipting and processing in accordance with company standards\
  • Advising on streamlining P2P processes, strategic sourcing, and vendor management\
  • Leading or mentoring teams and coordinating purchasing activities in fast-paced environments with accuracy and attention to detail\
  • Building strong relationships and networks across projects and operations\
  • Candidate must have a minimum of five years' experience in a similar role, ideally within the mining sector, with strong procurement and supply chain management expertise\
  • Familiarity with MS Office (Word and Excel) is essential, along with experience leading or mentoring teams\
  • Candidate must be capable of coordinating purchasing activities in fast-paced environments with accuracy and attention to detail, and have strong relationship-building and networking skills\
  • National police clearance not older than 3 months may be required\
  • Candidate must have current unrestricted working rights for Australia to be eligible for consideration\
