We are seeking a reliable and punctual Rural Delivery Specialist to join our team in Woolgoolga. The successful candidate will have a strong customer focus and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.

About the Role

The Rural Delivery Specialist will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of customer goods, including delivering and unloading merchandise to rural worksites. The role also involves assisting in loading/unloading and load restraint as required to prevent freight movement and ensure safe transport.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering and unloading merchandise to rural worksites
  • Assisting in loading/unloading and load restraint
  • Maintaining logs of deliveries and obtaining signatures
  • Communicating with warehouse or pickup point for special instructions
  • Interacting with customers in a professional manner, representing the company

In addition, the successful candidate will have:

  • A current unrestricted manual HR Licence as a minimum
  • A current forklift licence highly regarded but not essential
  • Knowledge of and experience with load restraint and mass requirements
  • Knowledge of and experience with the use of manual pallet jacks
  • Commitment to workplace health and safety
  • Reliability and punctuality with good communication skills
  • Strong customer focus
  • Competent computer skills
  • Knowledge of paperwork associated with freight delivery and familiarity using internal cab data systems
About You

To be successful in this role, you must:

  • Pass a Commercial Drivers Health Assessment including drug and alcohol test
  • Provide a current traffic print out
  • Have the ability to meet the physical demands of the position

Experience in a rural worksite or engaging with rural clients is highly regarded.
