We are seeking industry and community members to join the Wagga Wagga City Council's Public Art Advisory Panel. As a member of the panel, you will provide expert cultural, artistic and design advice, appraise proposals, and contribute to the commissioning process for public art works.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing expert input to the commissioning processes for artworks
  • Reporting back to Council for endorsement of recommendations prior to commissioning
  • Appraising and making recommendations for artist selection

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Understanding of the Public Art Advisory Panel's role and relevant details
  • Relevant industry experience or qualifications
  • Residency within the Local Government Area

About the Opportunity

This is a voluntary, non-remunerated position with one industry and two community member positions available. The estimated annual salary for this role is AU$50,000 - AU$60,000, depending on experience and qualifications.

How You Will Contribute

As a member of the Public Art Advisory Panel, you will contribute to the development of public art works that reflect the community's needs and aspirations. Your expertise and insights will help shape the council's public art collection and inform the commissioning process.
