Key Job Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Technician to join our team in the Gold Coast. The successful candidate will have experience in oxy-acetylene heating and cutting, operating various machinery and equipment, and reading technical drawings.

Job Responsibilities

  • Perform mechanical fitting tasks including assembly, dismantling, and maintenance of equipment
  • Operate machinery and equipment such as drills, mills, and saws
  • Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
  • Mark out work pieces and perform fitting and assembly tasks

Essential Skills and Qualifications

  • Trade qualification in Mechanical Engineering
  • Experience in Mig or Stick welding
  • Strong technical ability and fault-finding skills
  • Good communication and teamwork skills

Benefits and Working Conditions

The role is permanent with Monday to Thursday 6:30am to 3:00pm and Friday 6:30am to 12:40pm working hours. OT available and local Gold Coast location.
