Job Overview

This role is a key opportunity to shape the future of education in Australia.

  • Lead discussions on educational policy issues and engage with governments and regulatory bodies.
  • Support member organizations in outreach and engagement.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop consensus on policy outcomes.

The successful candidate will be a strong advocate for independent schools, working closely with the CEO to lead ISA and promote the sector's interests nationally.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective strategies to advance ISA's policy agenda.
  • Build and maintain relationships with government officials, regulators, and other key stakeholders.
  • Provide expert advice on education policy matters to the CEO and other senior leaders.

About You

We are seeking an exceptional individual with a deep understanding of education policy and a proven track record of success in influencing policy outcomes. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Education or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in education policy development and implementation.
  • Strong network of contacts within the education sector.
