Job Title: Diesel Mechanic

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and reliable diesel mechanic to join our team in Queensland, Australia.

  • Perform daily pre-start checks and adhere to all safety protocols.
  • Comply with Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) and Environmental regulations.
  • Service, maintain, and repair a fleet of heavy vehicles and machinery.

This role requires commitment to workplace health and safety and knowledge of agricultural machinery and equipment. Good interpersonal and communication skills are also essential.

The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality mechanical services to support the smooth operation of our business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintenance Duties: Diagnose faults in engines, transmissions, and components; dismantle and assess mechanical systems; replace worn parts and conduct scheduled maintenance.
  • Weekly inspections are required for tractors, 4-wheelers, side-by-sides, cutting crew tractors.

Qualifications/Skills: Boiler maker or fabrication skills, willingness to learn and adapt to new systems.
