About the role

As a Diesel Mechanic at LIQUIP SALES QLD PTY LTD, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing the fleet of DG vehicles for major players in the Gas & Fuel industry. Working in our Pinkenba, QLD location, this full-time position is an excellent opportunity for an experienced diesel mechanic to showcase their skills and contribute to the overall success of the business.

What you'll be doing

  1. Diagnose and repair diesel-powered vehicles and equipment
  2. Perform routine services
  3. Troubleshoot and resolve complex mechanical issues
  4. Maintain detailed records of all work carried out
  5. Ensure the workshop and tools are well-organized and maintained
  6. Provide excellent customer service to both internal and external stakeholders

What we're looking for

  1. Formal qualifications in diesel mechanics or a related field
  2. 3+ years' experience as a diesel mechanic, preferably in the automotive industry
  3. Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
  4. Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work accurately
  5. Good communication and customer service skills
  6. A proactive and collaborative approach to work
  7. A valid driver's licence and your own tools
