Clearance Requirements: Current or reinstatable AGSVA NV-1 (preferred).
Work Arrangement: Hybrid. As a senior team member, you will collaborate extensively with stakeholders, project staff and supporting teams.
Engagement Type: Permanent.
You will lead a complex integration program, exercising sound decision-making and judgement to contribute to deliver capability uplift or sustainment requirements inline with stakeholder needs.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and coordinate capability enhancements throughout the project management lifecycle from user requirements to approved designs for integration on platforms.
- Manage individual schedules to ensure effective completion of all scheduled tasks and activities, including complex procurements and industry engagements.
- Represent the client, as required, and contribute to internal and external stakeholder groups on assigned projects.
- Work with engineering and integrated logistics management teams to ensure that all project-related documentation and requirements are delivered in line with extant standards and timeframes.
- Share integration expertise to contribute to planning for future work take-on, particularly in relation to resourcing, technical aspects, commercial arrangements and schedule development.
- Provide advice to stakeholders including capability managers, contractors and boards.
- Ensure alignment with Capability Life Cycle milestones and Integrated Project Team deliverables.
- Minimum 7–10 years' experience in project support or project management roles within the Defence sector, with demonstrable experience during the Acquisition Phase or Transition to Support Phase.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications or relevant industry and/or domain work experience.
- Current and relevant commercial and/or project management experience within Defence or a military environment.
- Experience in logistically and commercially complex projects in the Defence environment.
- Hands-on experience working with and interpreting ASDEFCON contracting suites.
- Proven capability to lead and manage teams and interface with multidisciplinary project teams.
- Strong understanding of Capability Life Cycle and Defence procurement practices.
- Experience managing external contractors and suppliers for support system deliverables.
- Understanding of ODCS and FIC.
- Ability to obtain a Negative Vetting 1 Security Clearance.
- Detailed procurement methodology and contracting experience with both Government and private organisations.
- Understanding of the content of the Defence Procurement Policy Manual and related guidance.
- Liability risk analysis experience preferably with both Government and private organisations.

This is a hybrid position, offering autonomy and flexibility, with client-facing time necessary to liaise with design engineering and project staff to gather information, support technical briefings, validations and review sessions.
