The ideal candidate will be responsible for processing invoices, managing vendors, and ensuring timely payments.

Key Responsibilities

  • \
  • Invoice Processing: Accurately process a high volume of invoices and ensure they are matched to purchase orders and receipts, adhering to company policies.\
  • Vendor Management: Build and maintain positive relationships with suppliers and vendors, handling inquiries and resolving any discrepancies or issues in a timely manner.\
  • Payments & Reconciliations: Ensure that all payments are processed on time, and assist in reconciling accounts to maintain accurate financial records.\
  • Monthly Reporting: Assist in the preparation of monthly accounts payable reports and summaries, providing insights into financial performance.\
  • Compliance & Audits: Ensure compliance with internal controls, financial policies, and procedures. Assist with internal and external audits when required.\
  • Expense Tracking: Monitor and report on travel and other business-related expenses, ensuring all claims are in line with company guidelines.\

Requirements

  • \
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in an Accounts Payable role, ideally within a large-scale operation or transport-related industry.\
  • Accuracy and thoroughness are critical in this role. You'll need to be comfortable working with large volumes of data and processing payments swiftly without compromising quality.\
  • Experience with accounting software (preferably with ERP systems) and a strong understanding of financial transactions.\
  • The ability to identify discrepancies or issues within accounts and take the initiative to resolve them promptly.\
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and vendors.\
  • A collaborative approach to work and an eagerness to support your team in achieving common goals.\
