Key Responsibilities:- Oversee the ocean import process from port arrival through final delivery.
- Coordinate with ocean carriers, customs brokers, and trucking companies to ensure on-time delivery.
- Monitor and track shipments, providing timely updates to customers.
- Prepare and submit necessary documentation for customs clearance, such as commercial invoices and bills of lading.
- Ensure full compliance with customs regulations and international trade laws.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers by delivering excellent service.
Requirements include previous experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or a related field. Direct experience in ocean import operations is highly advantageous. Proficient in basic calculations related to freight costs and rates. Strong organizational and time management skills are required.
Industry Knowledge:- Solid understanding of ocean freight procedures and customs regulations.
- Familiarity with international trade compliance and relevant laws.
