About the Job

As a seasoned software engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing cutting-edge Oracle solutions from scratch. This is an exciting opportunity to work on high-profile projects and collaborate with experienced professionals in the field.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain robust Full-Stack Oracle applications using best practices and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify project requirements and deliver results-driven solutions.
  • Analyze complex technical issues and implement effective resolutions.
Requirements:Technical Skills:
  • HTML5 and CSS3 skills are required for responsive design, Flexbox/Grid, media queries.
  • JavaScript expertise is needed for core programming, DOM manipulation, asynchronous programming (Promises, async/await).
  • Oracle JET (JavaScript Extension Toolkit) knowledge is necessary since VBCS is built on it.
  • VB Components Framework experience is required for developing and consuming reusable components in VBCS.
  • REST APIs Integration skills are needed for calling and consuming external/internal REST services.
  • Oracle Visual Builder UI Patterns knowledge is necessary for forms, tables, charts, dashboards.
Programming Languages:
  • Node.js knowledge is required for lightweight backend logic if used outside VBCS.
  • PL/SQL and SQL skills are necessary for custom logic, views, and stored procedures in Oracle DB.
Cloud & DevOps:
  • Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Services is required:
    • Oracle VBCS
    • Oracle Autonomous Database
    • Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC)
    • OCI Functions (serverless)
    • OCI Object Storage
  • CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, OCI DevOps Pipelines) knowledge is necessary.
  • Version Control - Git/GitHub or Bitbucket experience is required.
Database & Data Services:
  • Oracle SQL skills are necessary for CRUD operations, performance tuning.
  • Oracle REST Data Services (ORDS) knowledge is required for exposing Oracle DB objects as REST APIs.
  • JSON and XML processing skills are necessary for data handling in integrations.
