About the Role

As a Journey Expert in our Home Loans Portfolio, you'll play a key role in helping to design and manage straightforward home loans products where customers and bankers are supported by simple and automated processes.

This role is responsible for liaising with stakeholders to elicit, analyse, communicate and validate requirements for changes to business processes, policies and information systems.

You will ensure that the Home Loans Serviceability calculator is maintained with up-to-date policies and processes for our Brokers & Mobile Lenders. Additionally, you will support the Home Loans team to deliver on prioritised projects using your demonstrated business analysis & project delivery skills.

Your Responsibilities
  • Building and maintaining an excel serviceability calculator to be used by all Brokers/Mobile lenders to support home loans policy
  • Leading streams of work within the squad and supporting the Product Owner in managing deliverables
  • Identifying the scope and capacity to deliver each deliverable before providing inputs into the overall delivery roadmap and plan
  • Gathering and translating business needs into consumable requirements
  • Analysing impacted business processes and understanding as-is and to-be processes
  • Working with stakeholders throughout the delivery lifecycle
  • Capturing, assessing, managing and mitigating potential risks and issues
  • Translating high-level goals into detailed plans and executing those plans
What You Need to Succeed
  • Proficiency with Excel VBA
  • Exposure to Home Lending processes and credit policies preferred
  • Experience across various delivery functions, such as business analysis, risk management and implementing change
  • Excellent interpersonal, active listening and influencing skills
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication and presentation skills
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to navigate ambiguity
  • An eye for detail and willingness to improve precision and clarity
  • A passion for user experience in shaping solution design outcomes
  • Knowledge in agile delivery, data modelling, process mapping and complex integration requirements
  • Ability to learn on the job and demonstrate a growth mindset
