Mental Health Social Worker Opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity for a Mental Health Social Worker to join our multidisciplinary team. The Allied Health brief intervention team provides stepped-care options, including brief intervention, short-term step-up allied health packages and prescription of internet-based therapies.
The ideal candidate will have tertiary qualifications in Social Work and eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW). They will possess advanced reasoning skills and be able to work autonomously and as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities
- To provide high quality, time limited, clinical services to consumers living in the community and their families/carers
- To facilitate optimal mental health outcomes and referrals to primary care
- To support, mentor and coach other clinical staff
Requirements
- Tertiary qualifications in Social Work with eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW)
- Advanced reasoning skills and ability to work autonomously and as part of a multi-disciplinary team
- Advanced clinical knowledge and skills in assessment, consultation liaison, care planning and evaluation
