Financial Transaction Specialist

This is a fixed term opportunity to join our Finance team as an Accounts Receivable Officer. As part of this role, you will provide support and deliver a professional and efficient Accounts Receivable function.
In this position, you will be responsible for:
- Maintaining the debtor's ledger;
- Processing and allocating payments;
- Reconciling debtor accounts;
- Following up on outstanding accounts to facilitate payment resolutions;
- Administering support for customers experiencing financial hardship;
- Liaising with Collection Agencies on recovery steps for referred delinquent debt;
- Processing and responding to customer enquiries;
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Experience in Accounts Receivable functions in a general office environment;
- Ability to identify process improvement opportunities and cost efficiencies;
- Proficiency in operating enterprise financial accounting systems;
- Able to work accurately to deadlines;
