As a key team member of our afternoon shift, you will play a vital role in managing and leading a group of cleaners. In addition to supervisory responsibilities, this role involves actively participating in the cleaning process to ensure efficient execution.

About the Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role, preferably in a cleaning environment. You will be responsible for leading and managing the night shift cleaning team, providing guidance and support to ensure tasks are completed effectively and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the night shift cleaning team, ensuring all areas are cleaned to required standards within specified timeframes.
  • Schedule and allocate cleaning assignments, ensuring all areas are cleaned to the required standards.
  • Conduct regular inspections to monitor cleanliness levels and address any deficiencies promptly.
  • Train new team members on cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and equipment operation.
  • Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels are maintained.
  • Assist in the cleaning process as needed, particularly during peak periods.
  • Collaborate with other departments to coordinate cleaning activities.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role, preferably in a cleaning environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
  • Knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and chemicals.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Flexibility to work weekends as required.
