About the Role

As a key player in securing new projects, you will be responsible for preparing competitive and accurate tenders, proposals, and cost estimates for high voltage electrical works.

  • Analyse tender documents, specifications, and drawings to determine project requirements.
  • Prepare detailed cost estimates, bills of quantities, and tender submissions that meet technical, commercial, and safety standards.
  • Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain pricing and technical input.
  • Support business development by identifying opportunities and contributing to bid strategies that drive growth.
  • Ensure tenders are compliant with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Work collaboratively with engineering and project delivery teams to ensure accuracy and competitiveness.
About You
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field or trade qualified with relevant certifications.
  • Minimum 3+ years' experience in tendering, estimating, or engineering within the electrical contracting or power industry.
  • Strong knowledge of high voltage electrical systems, construction methodologies, and risk management principles.
  • Ability to read Electrical Schematic drawings and interpret complex data.
  • Previous tendering experience in Civil and electrical infrastructure is highly desirable.
  • Excellent commercial awareness, negotiation, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and estimating software with strong analytical and report-writing skills.
