**Ecological Leadership Opportunity:**

We are seeking a highly experienced ecologist to lead our ecological initiatives, providing technical expertise and strategic guidance to drive project success from inception to completion.

**Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement the growth strategy for the ecology workstream in NSW, leveraging emotional intelligence and pragmatic attitudes.
  • Manage and mentor staff to deliver field survey programs and high-quality deliverables across complex and remote sites.
  • Cultivate client relationships and identify new business opportunities to contribute to the growth and success of the consultancy firm.
  • Lead proposal preparation within your relevant work area and develop positive relationships with stakeholders, including clients, government agencies, and team members.

**Requirements and Qualifications:**

  • 10+ years of relevant ecological experience.
  • Degree qualified in ecology, environmental science, zoology, botany, or a related discipline.
  • Accreditation under the NSW Biodiversity Offset Scheme is highly desirable.

**Additional Requirements:**

  • Current Australian driver's license.
