Overview:

As a Site Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the installation of underfloor heating systems across various sites on the Northern Beaches, North Shore and Greater Sydney.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience in construction, preferably in plumbing, air-conditioning or hydronic heating, with a proven track record of managing teams effectively to achieve project goals.

Requirements:
  • Strong leadership skills with ability to manage and motivate team members
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Current Drivers Licence and WHS Construction White Card
  • Understanding of need for safety on work sites

Responsibilities:
- Manage the onsite team of installers, plumbers and electricians to ensure maximum utilisation of their time
- Attend site for all new projects to ensure stakeholders/homeowners are aware of and have input into the proposed installation schedule
- Liaise with the builders representative to ensure access to a clean and workable site before contractors attend site
- Perform accountability for the schedule of installations for various sites
- Management and coordination of materials, equipment, schedules and safety of employees
- Complete onsite QA Inspection and Document each installation
- Ensure compliance with all WHS requirements
- Responsibility for a pro-active approach toward any cost saving ideas, procedures, policies in the installation
- Ability to liaise with customers and site staff in a professional manner
- Proven experience working independently
- Current Drivers Licence and WHS Construction White Card
- Understanding of need for safety on work sites
- Prior experience working in construction, ideally plumbing/air-conditioning/hydronic heating
- Ability to problem solve with practical thinking
- Be a strong team player
- Ideally an understanding of how to read plans, setup of pipes, fit out panels and boilers
