About the Opportunity

Miwatj Health is seeking an experienced specialist general practitioner locum to join their team at the Ramingining Health Centre. This is a unique opportunity to work in a solo GP clinic, providing primary health care to the community of East Arnhem Land.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality primary health care to patients in a solo GP clinic setting
  • Work collaboratively with the clinic manager, registered nurses, and other health professionals to deliver comprehensive care
  • Develop and implement treatment plans to meet the needs of patients
  • Contribute to the development of the clinic's policies and procedures
Requirements
  • Current non-restricted specialist registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Agency (AHPRA)
  • Fellow of RACGP or ACCRM
  • Previous experience working in Indigenous health is essential
What We Offer
  • A competitive daily rate of $1650
  • A 6 weeks on, 6 weeks off FIFO roster

The Ramingining Health Centre is a community-based clinic that provides primary health care to the residents of East Arnhem Land. The clinic is staffed by a team of dedicated health professionals who are committed to delivering high-quality care to the community.

Ramingining is a small community located 550 kilometres east of Darwin in the North East Arnhem region. The community has a strong cultural identity and a rich history, and offers a unique opportunity to work in a remote and culturally diverse environment.
