Miwatj Health is seeking an experienced specialist general practitioner locum to join their team at the Ramingining Health Centre in East Arnhem Land.
About the RoleThis is a unique opportunity to work in a solo GP clinic, providing primary health care services to the community. The locum will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, working closely with the clinic manager, registered nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities- Provide primary health care services to patients, including consultations, examinations, and treatments
- Work collaboratively with the clinic team to ensure seamless patient care
- Participate in clinical meetings and contribute to the development of clinical policies and procedures
- Contribute to the maintenance of accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Current non-restricted specialist registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Agency (AHPRA)
- Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) or the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine (ACCRM)
- Previous experience working in Indigenous health is essential
