Operational Technology Security Specialist

The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in helping clients safeguard their cloud environments and navigate the intricacies of hybrid cloud security.
This position can be performed from any EY office across Australia, offering flexibility and opportunity for growth.
Your Key Responsibilities- Lead with Impact: Proactively engage in client sessions, taking charge of workstreams to drive successful outcomes and foster strong client relationships.
- Collaborate Effectively: Engage with internal and external stakeholders to gather business requirements, ensuring alignment and understanding of cybersecurity needs.
- Assess and Strategise: Conduct comprehensive cyber risk assessments and develop robust cyber risk management strategies using frameworks like NIST CSF, NIST 800-82, or ISA62443 for key threat scenarios.
- Design and Deliver: Collaborate with EY project teams to design and deliver high-quality cybersecurity solutions, including high-level and low-level designs, solution architecture, implementation, policies and standards, go-live readiness, and transition to operations.
- Monitor and Manage: Oversee project statuses, resource plans, and budgets to ensure timely delivery and adherence to project goals.
- A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, coupled with 2 to 4 years of professional experience in cybersecurity or a related domain.
- Exceptional communication skills, enabling effective conveyance of complex information to the engagement team and client management through written correspondence and verbal presentations.
- In-depth knowledge of OT Cyber Frameworks, such as NIST 800-82 or ISA62443, to guide assessments and solutions.
- A proven track record of delivering high-quality cybersecurity solutions for Operational Technology (OT) environments, encompassing OT security architecture, secure zoning, security hardening, monitoring, cyber risk assessments, and threat detection & response.
- Demonstrable proficiency in project management, ensuring timely and within-scope project delivery.
- Strong strategic problem-solving and critical thinking abilities, facilitating effective navigation of complex challenges.
