About this Role:

Avoid common security threats and maintain the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data as a Security Governance Specialist. Collaborate with ICT stakeholders to strengthen security posture.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide expert advice on security best practices to support business stakeholders in making informed decisions.
  2. Develop and maintain comprehensive security policies, standards, and procedures that align with regulatory requirements.
  3. Evaluate and implement robust security controls to mitigate risks and ensure compliance.

  5. Promote a culture of security awareness and education among employees to prevent security breaches.

About You:

  • You hold a tertiary qualification in a relevant field such as computer science, information technology, or cybersecurity.
  • You have significant experience in security governance, risk management, and compliance (GRC).
  • You possess hands-on expertise in incident response, infrastructure hardening, and day-to-day security operations.
  • You are familiar with security tools and technologies including SIEM, EDR/XDR, CASB, and threat intelligence platforms.
  • You have a strong understanding of key standards and frameworks such as ISO 27001, PCI-DSS, NIST, ASD Top 8, and Privacy Act.
