System Security Specialist

We are seeking a seasoned cybersecurity specialist to provide protection and assurance services for frontline systems from cyber threats. This role is part of the Digital Function team within the Operational Technology (OT) Business Assurance Unit core team, reporting to the Senior Cybersecurity Manager.
Main Responsibilities:- Maintain OT asset security at an acceptable level.
- Lead contractors and service providers delivering OT-specific work.
- Deliver the OT Maintenance Program.
- Ensure OT system changes are secure and fit for purpose.
- Support frontline maintenance during OT incidents.
- Support the Computer Security Incident Response Team (CSIRT) during cyber incidents.
- Ensure security principles are applied to OT system changes.
- Support updates and delivery of OT Security Platform components.
Ideal candidates will have:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in Control System Engineering, OT, or IT.
- Experience in maintenance and operations.
- A good understanding of cybersecurity and risk management, especially in Oil & Gas environments.
- Stakeholder management skills.
- Leadership qualities.
- CCNA and/or SANS GICSP certification (or working towards).
- An Engineering or IT degree from a recognized university.
