Community Psychosis Practitioner

Uniting is seeking a skilled Clinician to join the Mobile Assessment & Treatment Team (MATT) in a community-based early psychosis program.
About the Position- Deliver flexible, responsive mental health support in the community for young people aged 12–25 at risk of or experiencing a first episode of psychosis.
- Conduct biopsychosocial assessments and short-term interventions as part of an assertive community-based care approach.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across various settings, including homes, schools, and community hubs.
- Rotate across designated areas, providing regular community coverage.
- Participate in shift-work rosters with evening/weekend loadings, ensuring comprehensive service delivery.
- Provide occasional on-call support as needed.
- Degree-qualified in Mental Health Nursing, Psychology, Social Work, or Occupational Therapy.
- Eligible for registration with relevant professional bodies.
- Experience in community or acute mental health care settings.
- Skilled in biopsychosocial assessments and brief psychosocial interventions.
- Offer flexible work arrangements, including some remote work options.
- Foster a diverse, multidisciplinary team culture promoting collaboration and growth.
- Prioritize ongoing training and development opportunities.
